Finance Officer Permanent

Cedar is recruiting a Finance Officer to join a busy Housing Association in London for a 9-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will provide support to Senior Accountants and cover accounts payable duties where necessary.

Salary: £33,000 – £37,000 per annum pro rata’d

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid 1-2 days in the office per week

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day finance support to senior members of the finance team
• Oversee the general ledger, treasury, cashflow forecasting, bank reconciliations, journals and the cashbook.
• Responsibility for all transaction processes suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Act as the first point of contact for the business in relation to finance queries and encourage engagement.

Requirements

• AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified CCAB
• Strong technical accounting ability.
• Excellent communicator, confident in dealing with senior members of staff
• Good understanding of all transactions processes
• Previous experience working in a Housing Association is advantageous but not essential.
