Role: Fund Accountant – Private Equity

Location: Green Park, London

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Up To 50% Bonus

Cedar are working with a boutique Private Equity house to recruit a Fund Accountant who will report directly into the Fund Finance Director. The PE House has gone from strength to strength since their inception 15 years ago and have just raised circa 900m for their 5^th fund. They are looking for fund accountants with at least 2 years of experience either in-house or coming from fund administration who have experience with Private Equity funds. They are offering a hybrid working pattern based in their offices in Mayfair, London.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for PE funds.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Support the preparation of capital call and distribution notices to investors.
• Assist in the calculation and allocation of management fees, carried interest, and performance fees.
• Prepare and review investor capital account statements.
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Assist with regulatory and compliance reporting requirements.
• Perform cash flow analysis and forecasting for fund operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth fund operations and accurate reporting.
• Participate in system and process improvement initiatives.

Application Criteria:

• Part Qualified OR Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA, QBE profiles will also be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Fund Accounting
• Experience of working in Private Equity funds, either in-house or within Fund Administration
