Finance Business Partner Permanent

Cedar is partnering with a PE Backed property group with a strong presence across the UK and Europe. The business has ambitious growth plans and are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their commercial team.

This role will act as the key link between finance and operational teams, working closely with senior leadership and department heads to provide actionable insights and enable effective decision-making.

You will take ownership of financial analysis, cost reviews, performance reporting, and support the budgeting and forecasting cycles. The role requires both autonomy and collaboration, making it ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, delivering high-quality outputs, and contributing to the long-term growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with operational teams, senior leadership, and department heads.
• Deliver monthly analysis of financial performance versus budget/forecast, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide clear, tailored financial and non-financial reporting to a variety of stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Management Accounts, and wider Finance teams to support accuracy, cost control, and alignment across the business.
• Support the delivery of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, including building detailed bottom-up models.
• Prepare and present materials summarising financial outcomes, assumptions, and recommendations.

About You

• Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
• Experience in stakeholder management and building relationships at all organisational levels.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Confident working both independently and collaboratively.
• Able to produce clear, insightful outputs that inform decision-making.
