Management Accountant Permanent

Cedar is recruiting a Management Accountant for a leading leisure and entertainment business who own & operate various locations across England & Scotland (as well as several others across the globe). They have a particularly loyal customer base and are planning to expand their UK offering in the coming years.

Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, the Management Accountant role will have the following responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and reviewing venue P&Ls.
• Accounting for corporate overheads (as well as budgeting & forecasting for these).
• Performing intercompany accounting & balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting the production of statutory accounts (including liaising with auditors).
• Providing analysis of performance at head office and venue level.
• A range of ad hoc projects.

The successful candidate for the position of Management Accountant will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
• Demonstrate strong management accounting experience.
• Possess good all-round communication skills to deal with venue and other managers / stakeholders.
• Work to deadlines and be keen to improve processes.
• Show flexibility to meet the demands of a role in a growing business.
