Interim Group Tax Manager, 6 month FTC Interim

An interim Group Tax Manager role has arisen working for a global financial services group. You will be reporting to the Group Tax Director and Group Head of Finance, the role will manage the Group’s day to day tax affairs including compliance and reporting across direct and indirect tax.

Key responsibilities include:

• Being the first point of contact within the business for HMRC and overseas tax authorities
• Manage corporation tax compliance and the UK Group’s Corporate Tax payments on account
• Prepare and/or review of corporation and deferred tax provisions calculations carried out by the finance teams, and tax disclosures in the statutory financial statements.
• Provide support on all tax matters including tax strategy, tax-efficient planning initiatives and any corporate or business transactions

The role will require someone to have experience of managing group tax with a particular focus around compliance and reporting, and ideally with Alphatax experience. They are based in the City and require office presence 3 days a week. Please contact me now for more information and a full job spec.
