Compliance Officer, 12-month contract

Our client is seeking a Compliance generalist to join its team in the UK. The role will report directly to the Head of UK Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the business’ overall compliance program, focusing on requirements under the FCA regulatory licenses.
• Oversee all UK regulatory reporting
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports to the FCA.
• Manage (together with the head of the team and senior compliance managers) high-focus areas, including regulatory reporting, customer complaints, and notifications as per FCA and PSD2 guidelines.
• Provide compliance advisory services to the business regarding new and existing regulated financial services products.

To be considered for this position you should come from a compliance background, working in banking, FinTech companies, payments companies, or consulting. You will ideally have robust regulatory reporting experience, with a specific focus on FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) reporting requirements and a thorough understanding of the Payment Services Directive (PSD2), particularly in payments activities.
