Cedar are supporting a Private Sector organisation based near Trafford, Greater Manchester, who are looking for a Bid Manager. This is a permanent role offering a salary up to £50,000 plus uncapped commission and additional perks. This role will operate on a hybrid basis but will be primarily on-site with the requirement to be in the office 4-days per week with the remaining day available to work from home.

Reporting into the Head of Bid Management the successful candidate will support the management of a team of c5 people and will be responsible for securing new business with clients in both the Private and Public Sector marketplace. You will be responsible for managing timelines and production of multiple bids, ensuring the highest quality and coordinate the teams Bid Writers to effectively complete/submit bids. You will review and feedback on ITT responses and support Bid/No Bid decision making along with writing and delivering presentations where required. You will also be responsible for performance management in the team and producing/sourcing regular training to help continually develop members of the team.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Strong background working in Bid Management - ideally c4 years minimum experience
  • Track record of winning bids in the Public Sector - ideally c2 years minimum experience
  • Experience in both writing and managing high volumes of bids
  • Line Management experience would be advantageous
