We are currently seeking a talented Credit Controller to join our client's team at their UK head office. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic and forward-thinking company.
- Work closely with account managers to address receivables issues and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to process customer returns according to company policies and with proper documentation.
- Collaborate with the Credit team to manage customer on boarding processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, and setting appropriate credit terms.
- Maintain customer credit limits, reviewing and approving any changes or orders exceeding limits.
- Responsible for posting and allocating cash to assigned customer accounts, promptly resolving any unallocated cash or discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Handle customer queries in a timely manner, liaising with colleagues to resolve effectively.
- Support the Accounts Receivable Manager in projects aimed at process automation and enhancing control within the AR function.
- Interpersonal skills, are you used to working effectively in a close knit team?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a credit controller role.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
