Our client is a leading supplier in the FMCG sector, a recognisable brand renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. With a global presence and a dedication to providing top-quality products, our client has established itself as a key player in the industry.

We are currently seeking a talented Credit Controller to join our client's team at their UK head office. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a dynamic and forward-thinking company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with account managers to address receivables issues and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to process customer returns according to company policies and with proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Credit team to manage customer on boarding processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, and setting appropriate credit terms.
  • Maintain customer credit limits, reviewing and approving any changes or orders exceeding limits.
  • Responsible for posting and allocating cash to assigned customer accounts, promptly resolving any unallocated cash or discrepancies.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Handle customer queries in a timely manner, liaising with colleagues to resolve effectively.
  • Support the Accounts Receivable Manager in projects aimed at process automation and enhancing control within the AR function.

Experience Required:

  • Interpersonal skills, are you used to working effectively in a close knit team?
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a credit controller role.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
