Are you a proven Transactional Finance Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to work for a very well-known luxury retailer? If so, we have partnered with a fantastic organisation who pride their staff as their greatest asset!
As the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the transaction processing functions (AP/AR/Interco) to ensure that these functions operate efficiently and ensuring all payments are approved in line within governance procedures and revenue reconciliations are complete. Additionally, they will ensure all governance controls are in place and champion a culture of best practice.
Accounts Payable: Manage the AP team and the end-to end AP process to ensure that Vendors are paid according to payment terms and that the business is fully supported. Ensuring financial controls and company policies are adhered to
Accounts Receivable: Manage the AR team and the end-to end process to ensure that all credit card and cash receipts are correctly allocated, and discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
Treasury Management of Bank accounts and Merchant systems
Team Management of 12 staff
Recruitment of staff
Setting objectives, measuring performance and conducting employee assessments
Mentoring , motivating and developing staff
Performance management
Process management:
Documenting and reviewing the processes on an ongoing basis, identifying improvement areas, and implementing improvements.
Reporting and KPI's: Reviewing and preparing reports and KPI's on a regular basis to measure the health of the processes, identify any problem areas and resolving them.
Third Party and Stakeholder engagement: Working with third parties and Business Managers to improve the process
Ensure that all SOX, Internal audit controls and local compliance requirements for the AP and AR processes are followed, documented, and reported as required.
Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements
Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements
Extensive People management experience essential
Experience in working in a Shared Service environment required
Experience in KPI reporting is essential
Proven track record of process improvement initiatives
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is required.
Must be organized, analytical , pro-active and good with people
Preferred Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:
Experience with JD Edwards is a bonus.
Strong attention to detail
Good verbal communication
