Cedar are supporting an NHS Trust based in the North West who are on the look for a Senior Procurement Manager (Band 7) on a temp to perm contract. The salary on offer with this role is ranged from £38,890 up to £44,503 per annum. This role will be a mixture of home and office based and will initially be on a 12 week contract which will then be converted to a permanent role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Procurement Manager who will work closely with a range of Clinical Business Units and Corporate Services, playing a significant role in supporting delivery of the Trust's objectives in providing a high quality and patient focused service whilst demonstrating value for money. In addition, this role is also key to supporting the wider collaborative procurement initiatives across the North West with great opportunities for networking and further skills development. The successful candidate will deputise the Deputy Head of Procurement as/when required and will be responsible for supporting a Procurement Manager.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE experience which covers:
- educated to degree level or equivalent with full membership of CIPs or equivalent relevant experience
- experience working in a role within the NHS would be advantageous
- experience managing complex contracts for a range of goods/services in excess of £1m
- experience covering Procurement, Customer Care and Supply Chain Management is required - ideally in the Public Sector
