Cedar are supporting a Train Operator who are on the look for a Senior Procurement Manager. This is a permanent role and will be a mixture of home and office based (in Central London) offering a salary up to £65,000 per annum plus a range of benefits which include a c15% bonus, competitive pension package (final salary pension) and free and/or discounted train fares.
This role will be responsible for managing 2 x Procurement Managers and will report into the Head of Supply Chain. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility of the organisations end to end Procurement activity and support the Supply Chain team with wider strategic objectives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for procurement and implementing a new eProcurement solution.
Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE:
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of working in Procurement positions ideally with experience in the Public Sector and/or Rail
- Understanding of Public Sector Procurement processes is required
- Experience implementing eProcurement platforms would be advantageous
