Senior Group Accountant - PE backed Tech - London - Hybrid Working

£60-70k + 10% bonus + + big company benefits + awesome offices with onsite Gym

An exclusive Senior Group Accountant role with a fast-paced PE backed Tech company and well-known consumer brand.

Following a high-profile investment by 2 impressive PE investors, the business has been undergoing huge transformation with a brilliant Senior Leadership Team driving ambitious growth plans and further international expansion. Currently in 5 markets - with the UK being the HQ - the business has doubled their customer base and seen 25% annual growth, as well as 50% profit growth last year.

As the Senior Group Accountant, you will be joining a warm and sociable Group Finance team of 10, reporting into an experienced Group FC. This hybrid role will build both Group Reporting and Project Accounting responsibly. You will own the Group Consolidation and quarterly financial reports to the board, engage with 5 country FDs/FCs challenging them on their financial submissions, with monthly oversight of indirect cash-flow, understanding the variances on budget and expected year-end position.

You will also become a subject matter expert for project accounting and defining Capex vs Opex, managing group risks and opportunities, and making appropriate recommendations to management. The role will give you exposure up to Group FD and Director level.

The Finance Leadership are supportive and ambitious leaders who provide real autonomy to manage your remit and strive to share their knowledge and coach where necessary, being known to develop their teams. The Group FC is looking to train and offer progression and career growth to a high performer, so this truly is a growing business to build a career and grow with long-term.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Be a qualified Accountant from industry or public practice
  • Have strong balance sheet and financial reporting knowledge
  • Experience of group consolidations is not essential but would be beneficial
