Finance Manager - City of London - £90k + bonus + excellent corporate benefits package + flexible working

An exclusive senior Finance Manager role with a US listed global professional services firm in the City with an enviable market position and the most reputable brand in their market.

The business has seen strong double-digit growth across their EMEA business for near a decade, continually expanding into new countries, and has been highly acquisitive acquiring key players in the European and Asian markets, increasing their global footprint. Due to strong growth and continued expansion into new European countries through strategic acquisitions, the business has created a newly created Finance Manager role under the EMEA FC to help lead, challenge and oversee the financial reporting conducted by the EMEA Financial Reporting team (currently 4 qualified Financial Accountants).

You will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of the EMEA region's financial statements covering monthly close, the statutory audit process and financial compliance. The EMEA Finance team is c.70 strong, primarily London based, with accounting teams also based in Germany, Dubai, and Spain.

The Finance Manager will lead the team of 4, having responsibility for the statutory audit of 14 UK & Ireland entities, including a large UK LLP and a FCA regulated entity. Experience of LLP procedures (FRS 102 and LLP SORP), including partner profit statement production is beneficial.

Skills you will need to be successful in this Finance Manager role:

  • Qualified accountant (or overseas equivalent) with 5+ years PQE
  • Proven experience of directing teams
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS reporting environments
  • A problem solver - able to drive improvements to reporting processes and controls
