Cedar are supporting a Public Sector organisation who are on the look for 2 x Senior Category Manager/s for their Business Services category. This is a permanent role with a salary up to £60,000 per annum on offer plus a £5,400 car allowance and additional benefits. This role will be home based permanently but will require 1 day per month on-site at the clients offices in the North West.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Business Services category which comprises c10 framework agreements with spend of over £100m annually. You will work with well-known suppliers and national bodies to deliver end to end compliant procurement solutions that exceed customer/stakeholder expectations and delivery obligations, within timescales, costs and service levels.
Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE experience which covers:
- Experience working within a similar role in the UK Public Sector within Business Services (i.e. Corporate Services, Professional Services, Vehicle Solutions & Travel Management) is required - candidates who do not have experience working in the UK Public Sector will not be considered
- Hands on experience and knowledge of PCR2015
- Experience using Government Frameworks and selling the benefits of Framework agreements to Stakeholders
