Cedar are working with a high profile central government client who are looking for multiple SC Cleared commercial specialists. Main category areas are IT and Professional Services however, general indirects experience would be considered if you currently hold valid SC Clearance. You will cover a range of IT services - including digital transformation, or a variety of Professional Services - including language services, fleet and FM. You will be well versed in using a range of procurement processes and frameworks, engaging with stakeholders and suppliers on a daily basis. You will manage multiple projects both independently and through effective project/stakeholder management and be a self-starter who is able to work without supervision.
You will ensure that along with meeting the organisations core objectives, value for money and cost saving initiatives are met.
Key areas -
Must have live SC Clearance and be working in a Public Sector Procurement position
- Experience of working on multiple procurement projects covering all areas of IT or Professional Services
- Hold Live SC Clearance or above
- Working knowledge of Public Sector procurement regs (PCR 2015)
- Supplier management and contract negotiation
- Must be enthusiastic and driven
- Effective stakeholder management
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- MCIPS Qualified - desirable
Required to be in the office 3/4 days per month
