Cedar are currently looking for a Revenue Accountant to join a technology company based in West End London on a permanent basis.

Hybrid working

Salary: £45,000 per annum + study support.

Reporting into: Head of FP&A

Duties:

  • Preparation of Revenue reporting for monthly management accounts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data reported working with internal stakeholders across multiple countries and entities.
  • Development, preparation, and analysis of monthly financial MI and KPIs with variance analysis and commentary.
  • Reconciling movements in portfolio (new customers, churn, price rises etc) with movements in IFRS reported revenue.
  • Working the Billing team to understand billed vs non-billed revenue to feed into revenue accrual calculations. Provide analytical support to ensure completeness of billing and revenue.
  • Ownership of forecasting and budgeting of Group Recurring and Non-Recurring Revenue lines.
  • Informing key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies to generate shareholder value
  • Offering professional input on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
  • Effectively communicating financial data to non-financial managers
  • Regularly review and recommend process improvements to continuously strive for excellence in OTG's process and service to stakeholders.
  • In addition to the duties listed, the position holder is required to perform other duties as may arise in connection with the successful operation of the Company

Attributes/ qualifications:

  • Part-Qualified accountant (qualified by experience)
  • Min. 2 years working experience in similar role
  • Practical knowledge and experience of IFRS reporting
  • Experience of subscription-based revenue models and deferred revenue accounting
  • Excellent skills in Excel including forecasting and modelling
  • Knowledge of ERP systems - previous use of Visma or Netsuite would be seen as a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM systems - Salesforce and dashboarding tools (such as Power BI)
  • Drive and ability to work independently.
  • Possesses good organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence and the ability to influence individuals for approvals
