Business:
A well-known professional services and outsourcing business with an established Procurement function. Some really strong investment in a c.20 person procurement function who lead on large complex procurement spend. This role will not just be facing into internal procurement needs but supporting on bid winning activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business strategy and execution
- Lead the engagement, procurement strategy and execution of key negotiations across the divisional function. This includes both supporting on bids in to clients, as well as internally facing procurement negotiations
- Drive transformation and change in a fast-paced environment
- Influence the mindset of internal stakeholders and demonstrate how procurement/supply chain value can aid on business growth ambitions
- An internally facing commercial consultant
Key Skills:
- Strong business partnering skills coupled with a strong underlying Procurement skill set and strong stakeholder management abilities
- Someone who has experience supporting on bid winning activity
- Comfortable in transformation and change environments
- Someone who can drive a change agenda as opposed to being seen as a blocker
- Resilience and an ability to influence
- Commercial acumen
