Role Overview:

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading procurement efforts across a range of large-scale construction projects, starting with an 800-million-pound program. Your expertise in procurement, particularly with NEC contracts, will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for the 800-million-pound program, aligning procurement activities with project goals.

  • Contract Management: Apply your in-depth knowledge of NEC contracts to oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance throughout project lifecycles.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and project outcomes.

  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and manage procurement-related risks to minimize disruptions and financial impacts.

  • Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, conduct financial forecasting, and provide reporting to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget compliance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in procurement management within the construction industry.

  • Proficiency in managing NEC contracts and procurement processes.
