Job Title: Procurement Manager
Reports Into: Senior Procurement Manager
Organisation: G15 Housing Association
Salary: Up to £57,000
Working Model: Hybrid (twice per week in Kings Cross, London)
Cedar are now working with a G15 Housing association, who are looking for a Procurement Manager to act as a business partner in their growing function. This candidate will work as a 'generalist' across all category areas, from the teams' projects in their finance team (transformation of finance systems) to procurement in their new estates team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has tendering experience across a variety of category areas, to progress within a large, and growing housing association based in Central London.
Job Responsibilities:
- To deliver a responsive, high quality, commercial and customer focused procurement service.
- Manage procurement projects ensuring compliance with policies, procedures across procurement activity.
- Implement strategies to manage procurement risk.
- Manage the commercial negotiation with suppliers, in support of divisional commissioning
- requirements.
- Ensure projects are in compliance with Public Contract Regulations
Key Requirements
- Experience running tender projects end-to-end within Public Contract Regulations (PCR) across a variety of organisations
- Experience building and managing effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Evidence of commercial acumen with a track record of successful negotiation and successful partnerships where relevant.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement legislation's, standards and techniques.
- Experience of negotiating and managing contracts to deliver savings.
- Will ideally be MCIPS qualified, or working towards the qualification.
