Procurement Manager - FTSE 250 - Remote Work - Corporate Indirects - £55,000 - £65,000

Cedar are working with a FTSE 250 business, currently undergoing an exciting procurement transformation, who are looking for a strong Procurement Manager to join their group function. This is a permanent role and is offering up to 100% home working. The role will be involved in leading a variety of large value, complex procurement projects across the group in categories such as, HR, Legal, IT, FM, Print and other indirect categories.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a large and complex business, ideally within Professional Services, Financial Services or Tech, with a generalist procurement skill set. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with strong plans for future growth and an expanding procurement function, who are very keen to develop their staff and progress them internally into senior positions.

Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager

  • Develop and deliver on category strategy
  • Run procurement projects according to organisational process
  • Carry out complex supplier negotiations
  • Implement and improve supplier management practices in line with company policy
  • Challenge and improve sourcing strategies
  • Maintain a strong understanding of supplier market across relevant categories

Skills and Experience

  • Strong stakeholder management ability
  • Experience in a variety of indirect categories
  • Experience within a large and complex business (FTSE 250 equivalent ideal)
