Cedar is exclusively recruiting for a Management Accountant position within a Pan - European investment management firm based in bank, London.

The Financial Services business has AUM in excess of $1bn specialising in the real estate space and are looking for a newly qualified Management Accountant to step into the role, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will have experience in the real estate market with experience covering both the audit side and account production for multiple entities.

The Role:

As Management Accountant, you will:

  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Lead on Month End Close, overseeing transactional and operational accounting work prepared by the team.
  • Collaborate with Group FC in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Consolidation of accounts for multiple entities.
  • Analysis of monthly performance with commentary on variances against budget.
  • Assist in establishing and monitoring KPIs for commercial and operational teams.
  • Contribute to annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Ad hoc projects and process improvement work.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

  • Qualified in either (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Previous experience in a Management Accounting / Internal Reporting role.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other accounting departments
  • Ideally have experience with consolidations for multiple entities
  • Ideally have a background in Financial Services / Real Estate
