A global brand and success story within the world of entrepreneurial technology firms has a highly sought after opportunity to join their high-profile Commercial Finance Team.

Due to several internal promotions and continued growth coupled with recent high-profile acquisitions, the business is now seeking to recruit a commercially orientated Lead Finance Business Partner in their central London office.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director and partnering UK Marketing & Sales Directors, you will take a lead role on Marketing & Advertising spend across TV Campaigns, Digital (Google, Facebook etc.) and all channels analysing ROI and directly influencing Revenue growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Business partner in a pro-active, commercially astute manner - developing expertise in relevant commercial teams, understand key performance drivers, competitor context and latest industry developments; proactively explore and analyse data extracting valuable insights to enable informed decision making; be the voice of finance, supporting and advising on commercial opportunities and issues
  • Drive planning and forecasting activities for Sales and Marketing teams, while interfacing closely with your fellow business partners and the central FP&A team
  • Develop and create key financial models - including but not limited to acquisition, retention, pricing and expense models
  • Create and deliver presentations for financial and business reviews that provide impactful insights to drive business performance
  • Establish operating mechanisms and commercial reporting that ensure local and central management teams understand business position against operating and financial objectives
  • Develop key management reports especially business KPIs to ensure data accuracy
  • Drive process improvement and lay the foundation for scalable processes that will scale with the global growth plans

To be successful in this role:

  • As a qualified accountant with demonstrable commercial finance experience, specifically partnering non-finance stakeholders, you will exude a confident, warm and engaging communication style.
  • You will be a master at presenting complex analytics to senior stakeholders, having worked within a data heavy, technology or consumer related company, applying business experience to influence thinking of senior management.
  • You will also need advanced Financial Modelling and strong PowerPoint skills, as well as large financial systems experience.
