Cedar have partnered with a Mayfair, London based Accountancy practice that provides high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a range of clients across different sectors. They are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their very busy team and help deliver exceptional service to clients.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be involved in bookkeeping, VAT returns, financial reporting, and tax compliance work. You will also have the opportunity to support senior colleagues in tax and accounting advisory work as required. You will report directly to a partially qualified Chartered Accountant (Senior Associate)

The successful candidate will need to have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance. You will also need to have excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. You will be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. You will also have a professional demeanour and respect client confidentiality.

The organisation will offer the successful candidate study support once probation is passed.

Additional languages are advantageous but not essential.
