Director – Tax, Trusts & Probate (IHT Specialism)

Overview
This senior role focuses on trust taxation, non-contentious probate, and inheritance tax planning. The ideal candidate will manage client relationships, oversee compliance, and provide strategic estate planning advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on trusts, estate planning, and inheritance tax.
• Oversee probate processes, including onboarding and compliance with regulations.
• Manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Prepare and review trust and estate accounts, tax returns, and related documentation.
• Lead and mentor team members, delegating and reviewing work.
• Support business development by identifying growth opportunities.

Requirements

• CTA and/or STEP qualified with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in probate and private client work.
• Strong knowledge of the probate process and trust compliance.
