ROLE: IT PROJECT FINANCE MANAGER
You will be responsible for finance deliverables of two IT projects. This will include collecting and collating information (vendor contracts, people costs) for creating and revising business cases in order to support the Project Managers in articulating the financial benefits of the project.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
·Model responses from different vendors, building a consolidated vendor spend picture that feeds into the business case
·Work closely with HR and IT Strategy Director on modelling different costing scenarios based on various business options, obtaining and validating costs from various sources.
·Prepare presentations on project status and outputs for senior management
·Assisting with vendor capability assessment process from finance perspective
·Communication to Senior Finance Manager, Finance Director and Project Managers on finance deliverable status
·Produce regular reports (Excel and PowerPoint) for the senior team on total cost of ownership as well as specialist reports when required
·Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 5-8 years of experience in a commercial environment
·Ability to think and act independently
·Excellent working knowledge of Excel- including use of data analysis and complex models.
·Ability to assimilate through large amounts of financial information and present solutions in an articulate manner.
·Experience working on complex Business Cases and modelling different scenarios.
·IT Finance and/or vendor management experience desirable
·Methodical and logical thinking
·Ability to work with many stakeholders across business functions in an international organisation with different cultures and language including non-financial minded colleagues
·Ability to operate in pressured work environment
·Strong coordination, presentation, and oral and written communication.
·Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, delivering complex project assignments on time
