An immediate requirement has arisen for an Interim VAT Manager to join this highly acquisitive, fast paced Group. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will take ownership over bring the UK VAT Compliance process in-house and setting up processes and systems to ensure compliance is maintained. As the Group make further acquisitions, you will need to ensure VAT compliance is integrated into the UK Group. Responsibilities include:

• Manage the VAT compliance process and ensure compliance with VAT legislation.
• Advise AP's and the Finance team on VAT technical queries and implement VAT initiatives.
• You will have oversight over international VAT (this is is managed locally in country).
• Review the VAT implications of the group corporate structure and advise accordingly e.g., VAT grouping, partial exemption methodology (using external advisors as necessary

You will experience and knowledge of UK / EU VAT and able to drive and implement change to systems and processes. They Group are based in Central London and operate hybrid working. Please apply now for more information.
