Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client based in Preston with the search for an Interim Sourcing Manager to cover their ICT category. This role is on an initial 3-6 month contract and will be a mixture of home and office based (ideally 2-3 days per week on-site). The rate on offer for this role is £400 per day (INSIDE IR35) and we are looking for candidates who are available immediately or on a 1-2 week notice.
The successful candidate will be required to take ownership of the ICT category vision and deliver Category Plans which underpin the sourcing strategies. You will also be required to support running full end to end Open Procedure Procurements as well as running/using Further Competitions and Direct Awards via Government Frameworks.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent qualifications or experience
- Experience working in a similar role (covering Procurement, Sourcing or Category Management) in the UK Public Sector - ideally with experience/understanding of the ICT category
- Strong understanding of Public Sector Procurement Regulations (i.e. OJEU and PCR2015)
