Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are looking to appoint 2 x Interim Project Managers on a 6 month contract. These roles are ideally going to operate as 50% Office Based and 50% Home Based (client is open to discuss). These roles are OUTSIDE IR35 with a day rate range of £400 up to £450 on offer.

Successful candidates will be assigned to support one of the following Project Manager vacancies:

  1. Assets & Regeneration: assets/property specialist is not required but would be advantageous. General Project Manager with experience in the Public Sector required overall - there is a system workstream so evidence of both system and non IT Project management required.
  2. Regulatory Services Service Redesign & Commercial Project to Build the Commercial Capability for 1 of the Authorities Assets: Regulatory services has a system workstream this role requires someone with good commercial project management skills as these are 2 areas where cost reduction / commercialisation / improved service is required.

Key responsibilities for the role are to develop detailed project planning, assurance and reporting associated with the project workstreams to commence implementation and deliver agreed milestones/outcomes on time and within budget.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Experience delivering change within Local Government is required
  • Ideally PRINCE2 or AgilePM qualified
  • Experience running project teams and complex projects within the context of transformation
