Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are looking to appoint an Interim Project Director on a 6 month contract. This role is ideally going to operate as 50% Office Based and 50% Home Based (client is open to discuss). This role is OUTSIDE IR35 with a day rate range of £800 up to £900 on offer.
The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight and be responsible for running governance associated with 3 major projects to ensure delivery of outcomes for; 1) Delivery Excellence in Service Provision, 2) Parking in Parks and 3) Review of Multi-Story and Off-Street Car Parks. You will also be required to assist other projects where necessary. The role will report into the Head of Service and will require the successful candidate to work with the Change Manager.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Experience working in Local Government or a similar role in the UK Public Sector - candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Experience managing multiple projects at one time
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
