A London based local authority are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join them on a 3 month basis. This role is paying £450 per day Umbrella Co.
Key role responsibilities:
- key manager in a team that manages Payroll, Procurement and Performance Systems
- Leading on budget setting, financial monitoring and reporting
- Providing financial management information to evidence and inform business decisions
- Managing the reconciliation and allocation of staffing costs and to be the direct liaison with the corporate payroll and HR functions
- Managing a team of 5
- To be responsible for the consolidation of the management accounts at year end
Key candidate requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Strong month end / management accounting experience
- Team management
- Hands on, proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced Excel
- Experience within Public Sector, ideally local government
