Interim Category Manager - ICT

Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are on the look for an Interim Category Manager to support their ICT & Digital category. This role will be home based (so can be based anywhere in the UK) and will run for an initial 6 months with the scope to be extended until/beyond the end of 2023. This role is INSIDE IR35 with a day rate up to £500 on offer.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of end to end compliant procurements relating to ICT and Digital within the Council covering areas such as Software, Hardware, Infrastructure and Professional Services. You will be required to use/call-off Public Sector Frameworks such as G-Cloud and DOS to deliver value for money and innovative solutions.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Strong experience working in the UK Public Sector in a Procurement, Category or Commercial Management position is required
  • Knowledge and hands on experience running end to end ICT and/or Digital Procurements via Frameworks such as G-Cloud or DOS is required
