Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are on the look for an Interim Category Manager to support their ICT & Digital category. This role will be PERMANENTLY HOME BASED (so can be based anywhere in the UK) and will run for an initial 6 months with the scope to be extended until the end of/beyond 2022. This role is INSIDE IR35 with a day rate up to £550 on offer.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of end to end compliant procurements relating to ICT and Digital within the Council covering areas such as Software, Hardware, Infrastructure and Professional Services. You will be required to use/call-off Public Sector Frameworks such as G-Cloud and DOS to deliver value for money and innovative solutions.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Experience working in a similar at Procurement, Category or Commercial Management level is required, ideally in the Public Sector
- Experience running end to end ICT and/or Digital Procurements or opportunities via Frameworks such as G-Cloud or DOS in the Public Sector would be advantageous
