My client is a leading FMCG company based in the City Centre.

They are looking for a Category Lead - IT to come on board in their indirects team. Reporting into the Head of Category, your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Manage all sourcing activity for the Category
• Take responsibility for market engagement through to contract delivery
• work on strategic category plans as well as hands on delivery
• Look at resource planning & demand planning and help assign new work coming into the business

Whilst this role is initially a contract, the business is going through a period of growth and transformation. You will work as part of a team of 15 other procurement professionals, and so there is a possibility of the contract being extended or made permanent.
