Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are on the look for an Interim Assistant Category Manager for their ICT & Digital category. The role is on a 6 month contract, INSIDE IR35, with a day rate up to £300 per day on offer. The role is 100% home based, so can be based anywhere in the UK.
The successful candidate/s will work within the ICT & Digital team and support Category Managers to develop ITT documentation, advertise tenders, ensure compliance and help achieve value for money for the Authority. You will also be responsible for running Further Competitions and Direct Awards, where required, on Renewals required via Government Frameworks such as G-Cloud, DOS etc.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- Experience in a similar role in the UK Public Sector working in Procurement, Category or Commercial Management
- Experience in either ICT and Digital or Corporate Services procurement
- Experience using Government Frameworks with the likes of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS)
