This phenomenal success story has seen its growth accelerate through acquisitions and significant investment by a top tier investment house. The infrastructure that this business is building is dramatically changing how we communicate and engage with digital content.

As one of the leading market disruptors in the sector, the business continues to go from strength to strength with exciting growth targets in place.

Due to this ongoing success, this organisation is now seeking to appoint its first in-house Legal Counsel.

Partnering the Senior Management Team, the role will include:

  • Providing effective legal advice, analysis and support for matters relating to the procurement, outsourcing and acquisition of commercial products and associated third-party contracts.
  • Working closely with commercial teams to provide effective legal support across significant CAPEX spend, i.e. major outsourced construction contracts
  • Managing the process of contract review through to the signing of contracts and advisory through the life of the project.
  • Building positive relationships with cross-functional teams and internal partners to better understand key legal issues and operational matters, including related regulatory risks.
  • Providing sound, practical, and strategic legal advice related to product, sales & marketing, contractual, security & IT, data protection, HR issues etc.
  • Front-foot approach to identifying legal issues with product, marketing or operational matters, customer engagements, and working with internal / external resources to formulate effective solutions.
  • Involvement in Company Secretarial and Investor Relations

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a breadth of construction law expertise, ideally with experience in both private practice and in house environments, who is able to demonstrate a pragmatic, commercial and hands-on approach to law.

As a pragmatic, strategic and agile commercial lawyer you will be comfortable negotiating complex commercial agreements and handling corporate, intellectual property, data privacy, employment etc matters.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a talented lawyer to create the in-house legal environment, playing a key role in the continued success of this rapidly growing and entrepreneurial business.
