Cedar are supporting an IT Managed Service Provider based in North Yorkshire who are looking to hire a Head of Vendor Management. This is an exciting, newly created, role in the business and is offering a salary range of £70,000 up to £80,000 per annum (plus benefits). This role will operate on a hybrid basis with the split being in the office 2 days per week and the remainder from home. This role will also include travel to various offices throughout the UK to meet key stakeholders in the organisation when required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation/set up of the new 'Vendor Management' function and will take over all responsibility for the management of all 3rd party relationships across multiple areas within the business. With this being a newly created role you will be responsible for upskilling the existing team, recruiting new members and educating the business on effective Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE:
- Strong experience working in a Vendor Management or Supplier Relationship Management position
- Experience of Vendor Management or Supplier Relationship Management within a technology and/or MSP environment would be highly desirable
- Proven experience/track record in development Suppler Relationship Management strategies and performance management processes
- Strong attention to detail, stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- CIPS qualification would be beneficial but equivalent Vendor/Supplier Relationship Management accreditation would be desirable
