Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client who are on the look for a Head of Procurement for their Integrated Procurement Services offering. This is a permanent opportunity that will be home based and have a salary of up to £75,000 plus additional benefits.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement Services this role will develop and deliver all aspects of procurement requirements across a multi-billion-pound operation covering the entire procurement spectrum from procure-to-pay and inventory management to strategic procurement delivery and leadership, with services delivered through a mixture of remote shared services and based at customer sites. This is a critical role part of our clients expansion where you'll help shape and define the face of procurement services for their customers. Working cross-functionally, you'll enjoy leading a large team, forging relationships, influencing action and getting to the bottom of customer needs to deliver procurement at its finest.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE experience which covers:

  • Proven procurement service delivery leadership within a Public Sector organisation
  • Strong knowledge of Public Sector Procurement legislation and best practice innovation
  • Leadership experience covering the creation, development and delivery of strategic direction
  • Experience implementing and deploying procurement service solutions to maximise efficiencies and drive costs
  • MCIPS qualified
