Cedar are supporting a Procurement Consultancy who are looking to appoint a Head of Procurement to support one of their key clients based in Leicestershire. This is a permanent job opportunity with a salary range of £70,00 up to £80,000 per annum plus Bonus and Benefits on offer. This role will be a mixture of home and office based.

The successful candidate will head up the delivery of a variety of complex transformational programmes and projects relating to Procurement and Supply Chain. You will be require to developed an intimate understanding of the clients business, their customer needs, their products/services and their supply chain. You will be tasked with building on company strategies and ensuring the effective/full use of eProcurement solutions. The successful candidate will also support with the recruitment and day to day management of a small procurement team.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• strong background working in a Procurement role in the Private Sector - experience working for a Consultancy would be advantageous
• experience managing people along with strong stakeholder and supplier management skills
• track record of delivering savings and best practice
