A Head of FP&A is sought by a market-leading media / marketing business. They have established themselves as the number one player in their field and now sell to customers in almost 50 countries. Reporting to the Group CFO, the Head of FP&A will lead a high performing team of 5 people and will be accountable for all FP&A, business partnering and decision support functions across the group. Specific responsibilities include:
- Oversee and drive timely and robust budgets & forecasts including ensuring all stakeholders understand key business drivers, initiatives, opportunities, debt covenants and other risks.
- Drive the continual evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives, including tracking progress against business cases and plans.
- Act as a finance business partner to proactively support teams & decision makers.
- Support the CFO with long term strategic planning, through building models and defining key assumptions and plans.
- Leading & develop the FP&A function; establish a culture of continuous improvement to ensure effective support to changing business needs.
- A broad range of ad hoc projects and tasks to serve the need of a growing, global business.
The successful candidate for the position of Head of FP&A will be:
- A fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 6 years PQE.
- An established financial leader in a senior FP&A / business partner role looking for their next move.
- From any background, although B2C, marketing, media or sales experience may be beneficial.
- Able to prepare complex and high-quality budget and other presentations at board level.
- A strong & proven team leader who can demonstrate having developed / up-skilled previous teams.
- Someone who wishes to play a key role in an exciting business for several years to come.
