This high-profile role with visibility across the organisation forms part of a high-performing group reporting team of strong ACAs and reports directly into the Group FC. You will get to partner the Group FP&A and investor relations teams, and as everything is automated there is real time to add value rather than churning out spreadsheets. The team are involved in M&A accounting support and this position has come about as someone was promoted internally into the Corporate Development team.

What skills you will need to be successful in the Group Accountant role:

  • Fully qualified accountant with an Audit/Assurance background
  • Experience working with clients with a group consolidation (from industry or practice)
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to analyse and present data to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the gravitas to win the respect and confidence of colleagues and senior stakeholders
