Group FP&A Manager - FTSE 100 Media - London (zone 1) - £80-90k + bonus + big corporate benefits

A global FTSE 100 Media brand has a high-profile Group FP&A Manager role based in their HQ in central London.

The business has diverse revenue streams, allowing it to weather economic turbulence with revenue streams in Digital Media, Creative Content, Technology, Business Intelligence and Live & Digital Events.

This highly visible role will advise the senior leadership team, on value delivery, and guiding group strategy on financial objectives. The position will also provide succession planning for the Head of FP&A, and will business partner to C-level, interacting weekly with the Group CFO, Deputy CFO & Divisional FDs with significant opportunities for career progression and personal development.

The meaty FP&A role has exposure to both internal and external stakeholders including supporting the analysis and presenting of information to the market and investors. You will manage and direct a team of 2 qualified Senior Finance Analysts, providing analysis and challenge of performance, risks, opportunities, initiatives, KPIs and trends across the business - owning the P&Ls for 3 key Events divisions - covering 60% of the Group's revenue (in the billions). With the support of your team of Analysts, you will provide the necessary analysis and strategic insight for Investor Relations to support external results presentations to the market.

What skills you will need to be successful in this senior Group FP&A Manager role:

  • Qualified accountant with significant PQE
  • FP&A or Group Finance experience in a large, complex structure
  • Attention to detail as well as the ability to connect the dots and identify business trends and opportunities
  • Experience Finance Business Partnering with Senior Stakeholders, with the gravitas to win the respect and confidence of colleagues and senior management up to C-level
