A senior level Group FP&A Accountant is sought by a leading industrial FTSE-250 plc who are showing double-digit growth as judged by almost all recognised measures. They are a truly global operator who sell their products through a collection of market-leading brands and are ideally poised to continue this growth in the coming years.

The role of Group FP&A Accountant has been created to provide significantly more commercial support to the business and to effectively aid short, medium & long term decision-making. Reporting into the VP - FP&A, duties include:
·Develop an effective suite of KPIs to provide in-depth analysis & commentary.
·Monitor OpCo / Brand performance against budgets & forecasts; work with stakeholders to take remedial action where necessary.
·Provide financial and commercial decision support to regions, sub-regions & markets, especially when creating the Group's financial plans.
·Play a lead role in the implementation of a new group-wide forecasting system and ensure its effective roll-out to all stakeholders.
·Contribute to half and full-year external reporting.
·A broad range of ad hoc projects to improve the information the insight offered on Group performance.


The ideal candidate for the role of Group FP&A Accountant will be a qualified accountant who has gained sufficient post-qualified experience in at least one major FP&A role since qualifying. Applicants will have strong analytical & excellent stakeholder manager skills and will be naturally curious in their approach to driving change. Prior experience of systems implementation would be of some use as would exposure to year-end reporting. Progression is expected for strong individuals both within and beyond this role.
