Group Financial Accountant - FTSE 100 Media - Central London (zone 1) - £60-65k + 10% bonus + 30 days annual leave + flexible/hybrid working

This high-profile Group Finance role with visibility across the organisation forms part of a high-performing Finance team who are lead by the Deputy CFO based at the London HQ. The team are involved in all the financial sections of the half and year end external reporting, Group Consolidation and accounting for M&A transactions. You will get to partner the Group FP&A and investor relations teams on financial results, and with slick technology and streamlined processes there is real time to add value rather than churning out spreadsheets.

The position has come about as someone was promoted internally into Corporate Development team and the manager of this role was also promoted up from this position, proving they are serious about internal career progression. What skills you will need to be successful in this Group Reporting Accountant role:

  • Fully qualified ACA/CA from a top 6 firm
  • Strong commercial acumen, confident analysing and presenting key information to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder management with the gravitas to win the confidence of colleagues
