A leading Technology company with a yearly growth of over 150% per year, featured in the Sunday Times Tech Track 100, is looking to take on a recently qualified Finance professional into a high profile analytical role with senior stakeholder management with a serious opportunity to grow with the business into a future leader in the company.

The Group Accountant will work alongside the Group Reporting Manager in providing accurate and timely financial and non-financial information to the Company's parent and stakeholders. This is a high-profile role with exposure to senior stakeholders across the business and externally. A great first move out of practice for candidates with strong commercial acumen who are looking to fast-track their careers.

Responsibilities:

  • Quarterly consolidation and preparation of the group reporting pack
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Technical reporting and understanding of the relevant IFRS and accounting pronouncements for the Group
  • Financial planning and analysis (consolidated budgets, forecast and other reports)
  • Quarterly bank covenant reporting
  • Working with the cost manager to monitor fixed asset additions, disposals and depreciation
  • Working with the parent company group function for any other reporting requirements and ad hoc requests
  • Assisting the management accounts team in some aspects of the month end close (balance sheet reconciliations, month end journal entries like interest, depreciation, etc)
  • Review of accounting policies and procedures including internal controls
  • Liaison and coordination with the external auditors, tax advisors and internal auditors

Profile

  • Recently Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Strong data analysis
  • Good communication skills and senior stakholder management
  • Strong technically, together with up to date knowledge of accounting standards including IFRS
