Cedar are currently looking for a Global Payroll and Benefits Manager to join a technology business on a permanent basis.
Salary: up to £80,000 per annum
100% remote working
Global countries: UK, India, Australia, Brazil, France, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland and Mexico
Duties:
- Managing payroll vendors and overseeing monthly payroll processing across international locations
- Managing global benefits
- Ensuring payroll vendors adhere to deadlines
- Keeping track of and submitting monthly salary changes, compensation, and deductions to local payroll vendors
- Processing employee status changes, new hires, terminations, and payroll data information across HRIS system (ADP) and payroll systems
- Reviewing payroll reports for accuracy and reconcile any pay data discrepancies or errors
- Proactively liaising with the benefits broker to ensure we provide a competitive benefit offering across all international locations
- Overseeing setup of entity and payroll registrations globally. This includes liaising with vendors, legal counsel, and local authorities to obtain signatures, set up accounts, submit bank instructions, and compile employee information
- Ensuring SOX compliance
- Compiling data for quarterly and year-end processing to ensure compliance with reporting requirements for each country
- Managing vendors to ensure payroll taxes, social security, etc. are submitted for each country within applicable timelines
- Acting as the 'go-to' person for employees in international offices for all payroll and benefits queries. Respond to employee questions in a timely manner
Who you are:
- Minimum of 5 years experience managing and administering a full payroll offering in Europe, Asia or the United States which includes processing international payroll, providing payroll oversight, and managing corporate benefits
- Experience setting up payroll and benefits in new countries and familiarity with local data setup requirements
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation in multiple countries
- Working knowledge of tax and statutory deductions
- Experience working with and managing local vendor relationships including payroll, benefits, tax, pension, etc.
- Knowledge of GDPR regulations
- Knowledge of PAYE, NI, benefits in kind and stock, statutory leave pay, and other payroll statutory regulations
