FP&A Analyst Role

Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

London City based

Full time, permanent role

We have partnered with a fast growing and highly profitable Insurance company who are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their dynamic team.

The organisation has grown both organically and by acquisition over the past decade to boast revenues well in excess of £1bn and they have significant additional funding available. This is therefore an excellent time to join them as they continue to broaden their global reach and expand into new markets.

The role will support the Finance Business Partners to report and analyse results across its UK and International offices and provide finance support for investments in new initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be working towards their ACCA/CIMA qualification and have a keen interest and desire to develop a career within FP&A.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the FBP with month-end processes.
  • Assist with recharges from to other group entities.
  • Updating the cost models with actuals to track the costs accurately.
  • Resolve queries with regard to management reporting, helping to ensure the accuracy of reported results.
  • Support the FBP with the production of management reporting packs with commentary.
  • Support the FBP in the setting of annual budgets and mid-year forecasts.
  • Support the FBP with the development of the departmental allocation model.

  • Ability to think laterally and solve problems using own initiative and challenge the status quo where necessary.
  • Experience of working to deadlines, and in a dynamic environment
