A multinational Technology business based in the City, in one of the fastest growing sectors globally, is seeking an experienced and credible analyst with a commercial eye to support the business with accurate insight, including management reporting, budgeting/forecasting and investment analysis. Working closely with the Senior Leadership team, you will track financials across the P&L, inventory and sales forecasts, providing key metrics to track performance, as well as forecasting trends to the business for future growth.

The Role:

In this high-profile FP&A analyst role, you will be responsible for the preparation and corroboration of the monthly management reports - assisting with annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. As the most senior Analyst reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will business partner the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) interacting with the Managing Director and other senior stakeholders to support business strategy.

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Generating and reviewing the monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the region
  • Assist in the preparation/consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Prepare investment analysis and operational analysis, including review and update of statistics
  • Produce scheduled expense reports for cost centres and delivery of commentary - investigating variances as necessary
  • Measurement of financial performance and trend forecasting to project future business performance for stakeholders
  • Support the Director for FP&A and your team colleagues on high-profile projects for the SLT
  • Support business case scenario analysis, providing analytical data to assist in key business decisions

As a motivated and ambitious Finance Analyst you will need the following to be successful in this role:

  • An ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification
  • Recent experience in a financial analysis and/or FP&A
  • Strong knowledge of creating management reports and analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience to large and complex sets of data
  • The capability of working independently in a standalone role and as part of a senior team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with great presentation abilities
