I am recruiting a Financial Reporting Manager for a truly global, market-leading company. They are one of the most recognisable names in their field and one of the highest performing & most profitable to boot, allowing them to donate millions to support worthy causes. They're growing and this is an ideal time to join them in this newly created role.

The Financial Reporting Manager will report into the Head of Financial Reporting and will manage the accounting function of the consolidated group (revenue c.£500m from fee income). Duties include:

  • Day to day management of the accounting function including the UK, subsidiaries, international offices & entities and other segments.
  • Deliver the monthly close and consolidation of the trial balances for all the above both accurately and within timelines.
  • Lead & develop of team of 6 (qualified and part-qualified) staff.
  • Accountable for the effective control environment over the general ledger and accounting function, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Develop, sustain & improve the financial accounting processes across the global business.
  • Maintain strong internal relationships with Technical Reporting, Central Finance and business functions as well as external relationships with auditors & advisors.
  • A range of projects to support the business as it continues to grow.

The ideal candidate for the position of Financial Reporting Manager will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant PQE.
  • Possess all-round financial reporting and internal controls experience gained within an international group structure.
  • Demonstrate sound all-round knowledge of UK GAAP (and / or IFRS).
  • Enjoy (and have proven experience of) managing a diverse team across a range of levels.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders who are eager to work in a 'best practice' manner.

Salary: £80-90k + 10% pension + 30% bonus + excellent benefits.
