I'm recruiting a Financial Controller for one of the world's fastest-growing insurance businesses who offer a range of personal and commercial products. They have recently established new operations in the UK & Europe and have made several acquisitions with more planned for 2023 and beyond. They company boasts global revenues approaching $4bn, are majority employee owned and continue to grow quickly.

Reporting to the Commercial Controller & International CFO, this newly created Financial Controller position will support various recently established and recently acquired businesses by:

  • Being responsible for complete monthly financial reporting & close processes of various entities.
  • Leading & developing management reporting to international business as well as the US Group.
  • Preparing budgets & forecasts and monitoring these effectively.
  • Owning quarterly / annual financial reporting including Statutory, Tax & Compliance requirements.
  • Providing Treasury management and cashflow forecasting.
  • Delivering financial projects (e.g. development of KPIs / analysis, integration of new acquisitions).

Candidates for the position of Financial Controller should:

  • Be a qualified accountant who will ideally have trained in practice (ACA preferred).
  • Possess all-round financial & management accounting skills, preferably at entity reporting level.
  • Enjoy working & influencing at senior level across Head Office and subsidiary levels.
  • Want to be part of a growing, acquisitive fast-paced business where you're able to progress.
  • NOTE: Insurance / MGA experience is not required though may be a slight advantage.

Salary: £75000 - £85000 + 10% bonus + 10% pension + benefits
