Cedar is currently partnered with a fast-growth Technology SME to secure an Interim Financial Controller. The role would be carried out entirely remotely. The role is a 3-month initial contract, paying a day rate Outside IR35 of £350-380 per day.

The Company

This cutting-edge data and technology business is major innovator in their space. They have attracted backing by prestigious brands and are growing at an impressive rate. They are currently formalising their finance structure after a period of rapid expansion.

The Role

As Interim Financial Controller, you will:

  • Manage the production and submission of monthly management accounts.
  • Production and development of the monthly finance board pack.
  • Provide support for the growth of the business from the finance function.
  • Manage and deliver the annual budget process with senior management to capture the strategic objectives.
  • Manage audit process at an operational level, liaising with auditors and internal departments.
  • Manage production of statutory accounts and any statutory compliance.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

  • A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)·
  • Previous experience working within an SME environment.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
  • The Outside IR35 rate of £350-380 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
